Amy Meehan

Amy initially earned her undergraduate degree in Psychology and Human Movement from the College of Charleston (SC, USA). Seeking further education, she moved to Australia where she obtained a Master’s in Exercise Rehabilitation (Exercise Physiology) from Victoria University in 2005. Amy has accrued extensive experience in diverse multi-disciplinary allied health clinics across Melbourne before establishing UPR in Warrnambool with her partner, Dallas.

Throughout her career in these clinics, Amy has integrated her expertise in Exercise Physiology, Pilates, Sports Therapy, and Psychology to offer a comprehensive approach tailored to her clients’ needs and goals.

Amy's fascination with sport and fitness began during her upbringing in the suburbs of New Jersey, USA. Her involvement in dance, gymnastics, and participation in various state, national, and international level sporting teams has deepened her understanding of movement and injury dynamics.

Amy is dedicated to educating and empowering her clients to take charge of their physical well-being. Her clientele spans diverse backgrounds including pre/post-operative care, musculoskeletal injuries, pre/post-natal care, chronic conditions, and general fitness.

Currently, Amy is gradually returning from maternity leave.

Dallas Jones

Co-Director | Accredited Exercise Physiologist (MESSA) | Polestar Certified Practitioner (Studio & Rehab)

Dallas completed his studies at the University of Ballarat in 2012 and has since gained extensive experience across private practice, public hospitals, and Occupational Rehabilitation before returning to private practice.

Throughout his active life, Dallas has engaged in a variety of sports at different levels including state (cycling, hockey, tennis), national and international (Ultimate Frisbee). His enthusiasm for sports performance drives his commitment to optimizing his clients' outcomes, whether they are competitive athletes, weekend warriors, or individuals seeking to enhance their daily lives. Recently, Dallas achieved certification in Polestar Pilates Studio Rehabilitation training.

Joel Wallace

Accredited Exercise Physiologist / Accredited Exercise Scientist
M.Ex.Phys, B.App,Sci, AEP, AES, ESSM

Joel completed his Masters in Clinical Exercise Physiology at Deakin University in 2014, following his earlier achievement of a Bachelor in Human Movement. His dedication to advancing his expertise in clinical exercise is evidenced by additional specialized studies in this field. For the past seven years, Joel has contributed his skills in community health and private practice settings in Melbourne, and he has recently returned to Warrnambool to join UPR.

Outside of his professional life, Joel finds joy in spending time with his wife Claire and their three young children, Jack, Thomas, and Elsie. His personal interests include running, cycling, and embracing endurance challenges.

Joel possesses extensive experience in managing a diverse range of chronic diseases and musculoskeletal injuries, encompassing oncology, diabetes, cardiovascular disease, osteoarthritis, and chronic pain. He firmly believes in the transformative power of movement and the body's remarkable capacity to adapt, move, and perform, even in the presence of past illnesses or injuries.

At UPR, Joel plays a pivotal role in delivering clinical exercise programs tailored to meet the unique needs of his clients.

Josie Barker

ESSA Accredited Exercise Scientist | Allied Health Assistant | Receptionist | Exercise Physiology Student

Josie initially joined UPR through a placement and has since become an integral part of the team.

Recently graduating with a Bachelor's Degree in Exercise and Sport Science, Josie is set to embark on her Masters in Exercise Physiology in 2024.

Raised in Yambuk, Josie has always had a deep affinity for the outdoors and thrives on staying active in various pursuits such as netball, cricket, assisting her dad on the farm, woodcutting, gardening, fishing, beach walking, and running. This active lifestyle fuels Josie's passion for the health and fitness industry, motivating her to assist others in achieving freedom of movement and reaching their personal fitness goals.

Eryn Stoddart

Advanced Diploma in Myotherapy & Member of Myotherapy Australia

Eryn completed her Myotherapy studies at the Victorian Fitness Academy in 2019. Since graduating, she has garnered extensive experience working with diverse patients in both multimodality healthcare settings and local sports in Colac, before relocating to Warrnambool.

Eryn's passion for Myotherapy sprang from her deep-seated fascination with anatomy and her belief in the transformative impact of Myotherapy treatments. She derives great satisfaction from assisting individuals in attaining their unique goals, understanding that these objectives vary widely among her clients.

Sally McCosh

Sally started her Pilates career as a UPR client and invested in her own reformer over the covid period. Sally started her teaching through a small reformer based business in Warrnambool before making the switch to UPR.

Sally is passionate about Pilates and her teaching. She is always the motivator for her clientele.
